You receive and sign the Independent Contractor Agreement

Mandatory 10-minute test session

We run a mock consultation with you before you go live. We play the client role, send you a sample AI brief 30 minutes before, and join your Whereby room. Pass = you go live. Fail = one coaching call and retry.

Client sessions start being assigned based on your practice areas, availability, and language. You receive an email brief before each session. After each session add your notes and we handle payout and transcript delivery automatically.

What we expect
  • Maintain active and unrestricted licence at all times
  • Carry valid professional E&O insurance throughout engagement
  • Join every session on time and prepared — having read the AI brief
  • Provide genuine, competent guidance within your scope of practice
  • Add session notes within 60 minutes of session completion
  • Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with professional obligations
  • Notify us 24+ hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled session
  • Maintain a session rating of 3.5 stars or above over any 30-day period
Grounds for suspension or removal
  • No-show without 24-hour notice (first offence = warning, second = suspension)
  • LSO or OPLA licence suspended, revoked, or subject to conditions
  • Sustained session rating below 3.0 stars over any 30-day period
  • Client complaint substantiated by session notes review
  • Soliciting clients outside the platform within 6 months of introduction
  • Providing advice outside your licensed scope of practice
  • Breach of client confidentiality
  • Providing false information in your application
Blacklisting policy

Providers who are permanently removed from the platform are added to our internal blacklist and cannot reapply. Blacklisting applies in cases of: two or more no-shows, confirmed scope-of-practice violations, licence revocation, substantiated fraud or misconduct in session, or breach of the contractor agreement. Blacklisted providers are notified in writing with the specific reason. Decisions may be appealed once within 30 days by emailing legalclarityco@gmail.com with supporting documentation.

Dispute resolution: If you believe a rating is unfair or retaliatory, email us within 7 days of the rating with your session ID and a brief explanation. We review the session notes, AI brief, and client feedback together. If we agree the rating was unfair, it is removed from your average. All disputes are handled privately and confidentially.

Everything you need to know

Sessions are booked for a specific duration. You are not required to extend, but you may use your professional judgment. If you do extend, there is no additional compensation. Clients who consistently need more time can be guided toward booking a higher tier next time.
Yes, with at least 24 hours notice. Email us with your session ID and reason. We will reassign the client. Same-day cancellations without a genuine emergency are recorded and contribute to your no-show count. Two recorded no-shows without adequate notice result in suspension.
Yes. If you and the client mutually agree to a formal retainer after a session, you are free to engage them directly. We ask that you notify us of the retainer via email so we can update the session record. The 6-month non-solicitation clause does not apply to retainers that arise naturally from a completed session.
The AI brief is generated from the client's 8-question intake form and structured into: situation summary, key facts, documents mentioned, steps already taken, deadlines, and prep notes for you. It is a summary tool only — not a legal analysis. Treat it as a well-organized intake note. You should ask the client to confirm the key facts at the start of the session.
Payouts are processed every Monday for sessions completed during the prior week. You receive 80% of each session fee via e-transfer to your registered email. We also send a payout statement showing each session, fee, and your net amount. Minimum payout: $1.
We review disputes using your session notes, the AI brief, and client feedback. If the session was completed as described and the dispute is not substantiated, your payout is unaffected. If a partial refund is issued to the client as a goodwill gesture, your payout is not reduced — LegalClarity absorbs the cost.
